The injection moulded components for a new 70mm vertical sliding window have been produced using Resource Plastics rapid prototype and production facilities. 

The  decorative sash horn mouldings were produced as SLS rapid prototypes for fit and function tests before investing in full production tooling. The main window frame profiles were also prototyped allowing the client to preview the physical qualities of the new window.

Once the sash horns were approved for production, tooling for these and the other vital components for this system were ordered from Resource Plastics whose job was to match exactly the colour and gloss levels for our client's window.

The results are simply stunning and help to make the new window a truly beautiful addition to any home.
